Thank you to the Committee for the invitation to judge at this show and my stewards for their excellent support in the ring.  I should also thank the exhibitors who managed to get to the show given the weather forecast.  Geoff and I had left home in a blizzard and did wonder what was to come.  Fortunately all was well.

Open Dog 1 (0 abs)

1st - Trotman Mrs. P and Dockrey Ms K - Regalflight Princequillo of Penherald - 6 years old large male with a masculine head, dark eye, neat ears and a lovely expression.  Good length of neck onto correct front. Excellent bone. He has good depth of chest with spring of rib leading into good tuck up. Lovely top line, following through to strong hindquarters and  rear angulation. Shown in correct coarse coat.  He moved correctly, with purpose and maintained his topline throughout, really covering the ground.  It was a pleasure to award him Best of Breed and Best Dog.

Junior Bitch 3 (2 abs)

1st - Spring-Arnold’s - Gentiehun Alice Springs - Fine bitch with pleasing head, neat ears and dark eye.   Immature for her 17 months. Good coarse coat and neat small feet. She moved reasonably well.

PGD Bitch 1 (0 abs)

1st - Dockree’s -  Regalflight Kalifi of Gorsekree - 2 year old bitch of lovely type, still with some maturity to come.  Shown in correct coat.  She has a beautiful head, with expressive eyes.  A good length of neck onto correct shoulders. Good bone, neat feet.  Moved well and with drive. 

Open Bitch 3 (1 abs)

1st - Trotman’s - Stainlonan Kulang of Penherald - Of similar type to Best of Breed winner. Shown in correct and coarse coat.  Elegant bitch with pretty head, small ears.  Good reach of neck onto correct front, well knuckled feet.  Good depth of chest.  Flowing topline, good quarters and rear angulation.  Moved well. Best Bitch and Reserve Best of Breed.

2nd - Spring-Arnold’s NL CH Jacobite Rosanne (Aus Imp) to Gentiehun TAF - Mature,  tall dark coated  well turned out bitch, with balanced angles front and rear.  Did not move as well as 1st placing.
